Tis the Season

Much like the rest of the clan, Jackie and I spent the past weekend decorating our house for the soon approaching Christmas season. We pulled out the decorations and bought some new ones to make our house full of Christmas cheer. We also went and picked out our tree. I know Jackson will be disappointed about the size but we only have 7′6″ ceilings so putting a 10′ tree in the house could prove to be a challenge. But needless to say it is full of lights and decoration and a nice addition to the living room.

Our house is just chalk full of Christmas cheer. The truth is that my talented wife decorated the house herself. Sure, I was there to hang some high things and provide manual labor but if I decorated the house there would definately be plastic light up characters all about (including the yard). Most of you know I am not capable of doing such creative/artsy things so I won’t even attempt to lie and say I did it. Hopefully we can have many of you over the Christmas/New Years break to listen to some Burl Ives and enjoy some hot cocoa or a dandy eggnog. I have pictures on my camera to put up but I have to get them developed (we are yet to enter the digital photography age).

And to our large Jewish fan base, Happy Chanukah, or Hanukah, your choice.
